The EB-5 program offers two legitimate pathways to U.S. permanent residency: regional center investment and direct investment. Both are USCIS-approved. Both lead to the same green card. Both are the right answer for different kinds of investors.
The problem is that almost everyone you'll talk to in this industry has a financial stake in which one you choose. Regional centers earn fees on the capital they place. Brokers earn commissions on the deals they refer. Even attorneys often have referral arrangements with specific investment vehicles. DC Consulting is structured differently on purpose. We are not a regional center. We do not broker investments. For investors with the capital capacity and the appetite for ownership, DC Consulting operates an active partnership portfolio spanning four sectors — education, real estate, hospitality, and service infrastructure. Each venture is built around an experienced operator. Many of those operators have built more than one business with us. All are structured for USCIS compliance from day one and for genuine commercial performance over the five-year partnership period.
We do not place capital into anonymous pools. We do not refer investors out to third parties. We partner alongside our investors in real businesses, operated by people we have worked with before, in industries we understand.
Capital commitments typically range from the low single millions into the eight figures, with investor roles available across the passive-to-active spectrum depending on the venture and the investor's preference.

Every EB-5 investor goes through the same USCIS process. What differs is the investment structure underneath it — and that determines your capital threshold, your level of involvement, your potential return, and what you walk away with after your visa is approved.
Neither pathway is inherently better. They serve different investors with different goals.
Regional Center Investment
Lower capital threshold. Fully passive. Capital is pooled with other investors and placed into USCIS-approved projects, typically real estate. Your role ends at petition approval, when capital is returned with a low fixed return.
Best for investors who:
• Prioritize the lowest possible capital commitment
• Want zero involvement in the underlying business
• Are comfortable trading return potential for simplicity
• View the investment purely as the cost of residency

Everything in Alignment Consulting, plus end-to-end case preparation and a dedicated liaison through approval. Your liaison researches U.S. regions for lifestyle and economic fit, coordinates with your legal and financial teams, manages paperwork and documentation, and serves as your single point of contact through the entire process. You attend the appointments. We handle everything else.
Investors who pursue Direct Investment Partnership receive an extended five-year active partnership in addition to the services above.
